I don’t believe in the “Divine Feminine”

Why you’ll never hear me talk about the “divine feminine” or “divine masculine”.

The divine is too rich, infinite, vast, expansive, multifaceted, eternal, unending, dynamic & immeasurable to be captured in our gendered binary.

The Bugis of Indonesia have five genders.
The Muxes of Mexico are a third gender.
Classical Judaism has six genders.

And you think that source-beyond-source, the creator + animator of all existence (INCLUDING the Bugis, the Muxes and classical Judaism) has just two?

Instead of trying to capture the sacred into limited human understanding, let it capture YOU!

Let it remind you that you are bigger than any binary, richer than any restriction.

Let it dissolve your own structures, boundaries, rigidity and othering to remind you that you are an emanation of IT, not it of you.

Let yourself melt into God, into shadow AND light, into sacred AND mundane, into power AND peace — recognizing that it is all good. It is all God.

There is no restriction, no limitation, no boundary between you and God, other than what you put in your own mind. You and it are one. You are an emanation, a divine expression of all that is.

Everything about you is divine — your breath, your breasts, your eyes, your heart, the hairs on your chinny chin chin. Your sex, your sexuality; your essence, your energy.

Everything abut you is holy.

We humans made up the male / female, good / bad, right / wrong binary as a way to give our egos something to do — something to keep it occupied.

The ego loves categorizing, judging, critiquing.

But your soul? The essence of who you truly are?

It is unlimited + unyielding, eternal + infinite. It encompasses EVERYTHING and exists beyond binary boxes.

When you align to that truth, you accept what is as it is, knowing it is never ALL it is.
